PLANT DATABASE: MYeFlora's plant database grows
daily. This is a database contributed and managed by users (with a
little verification help from MYeFlora to ensure accuracy). This exciting
feature allows you to search for an individual plant, add a plant,
contribute information to an existing plant, or utilize the "advanced
search" to find the plants that meet your specifications. There
also exists the "At a Glance" pages, where you can view
a list of plants within our database through a simple list that links
to more.
ARTICLE LIBRARY: the Article Library is filled with
interesting and informative articles on various categories relating
to gardening. Here, you may browse articles by recent submissions,
categories, or search by using our Search Engine. Members may contribute
articles by submitting their work through the Article Librarys' home
page.
FORUM: the discussion forums is a popular plot in
our online gardening community. Read MYeFlora news, chat with other
members, and get (or answer) those burning garden-related questions!
BLOGS: members within our community may set up their
own personal blog to be viewed by guests, registered members, or just
friends - as preferred by the gardener. This feature includes all
of the traditional blog perks, including RSS feed, permalink, and
member comments.
LIVE CHAT: members can chat real-time with one another
by going into the Chat feature, found inside of our forums. There
are several subroom topics to choose from. A great little addition
to build a stronger community!
FLOWER SHOP: need to send flowers to someone? MYeFlora
has partnered with a company to provide members with flower and plant
gifts that come directly from the growers! That means that you not
only get gorgeous and fresh flowers, but you also support the growers
and at the same time get discounted prices.
BOOK CLUB: read book reviews or plant your own reviews
within our book club patch. Users can browse by category or use the
search feature to find what they are looking for. Here, you can find
what other gardeners within our community are saying about these great
resources. There is also a quick link to purchase the book through
Amazon. A book will be featured and discussed live each month.
CALENDARS: looking for a local event? Our calendars
feature gardening events that are searchable by state and country;
gardening/plant associations are welcome to build their own calendars.
TIPPING JAR: the tipping jar is a set of tips submitted
by members, which change randomly to displya a new tip. These are
brief tips on all types of garden related subjects. The tipping jar
can be found on our main home page - just look for the jar!
